Peterborough Police have arrested two residents after a traffic stop in Peterborough.
Police say Friday around 6:00pm a car was stopped near Rubidge and Townsend, and learned that the driver was suspended.
Further investigation found that the driver and passenger weren’t supposed to be in communication, while about $10,000 worth of drugs and paraphernalia was found.
42-year-old Lucan Watters of Peterborough and 31-year-old Ginny Ellis of Campbellford have both been charged with drug trafficking-related offences as a result.
