Short, sweet, and a whole lot of fun. That sums up Friday's annual Winter Carnival parade. The fan-favorite event attracted hundreds of residents who lined the streets along Church and Oak Streets and Second and Fourth avenues as families and fans of winter turned out on a chilly night to kick off the annual celebration.
There is always room for a few more hands to carry the world’s longest ski hat in Friday's 51st annual Sandpoint Winter Carnival.
The hat will be the Bonner County Historical Society and Museum's entry in the event's Parade of Lights.
While museum officials said they’ve had many people reach out to help carry the 700-foot-long ski hat, more would be appreciated.
