Officials have identified the women who was killed in a trailer home fire in north Lewiston last week as 20-year-old Gillian Lange.
Lange had reportedly moved to Lewiston from Las Vegas to help care for an unidentified friend who sustained injuries from the early Thursday morning blaze.
Officials say after helping her disabled friend evacuate the trailer, Lange went back inside to save a cat and was unable to escape. Firefighters, who responded located Lange inside, but were unable to resuscitate her.
The blaze spread to a tree and a neighboring trailer, but was under control in about 20 minutes.
