Last night CRN hosted its annual Women and Diversity in Channel Awards 2023, recognising those individuals and companies in the channel making the biggest strides.

According to the network, it was the first time since March they had been able to leave home for anything properly social.
Kennedy said that asking her grandmothers to be her bridesmaids was a way to help make the ceremony even better for them. If they re going to come, we wanted to make it as special as we could for them, Megan said.

Both bridesmaids had been shielding since March and were only able to attend for a short time, while also staying well away from other guests.
Megan admits that when she first told them of her plan, they both laughed, but soon got into the spirit of it. They thought it was ridiculous at first and that we should give their places to others, as our numbers were so limited, she said. When I explained how important it was to me to have them there by my side on the most important day of my life, they both agreed and then got so excited.
