Chihuahua stolen from Gorse Hill reunited with owner two years later

A STOLEN chihuahua has been reunited with her owner two years after being taken. Burglars broke into a Gorse Hill address in October 2019 and took the female pet along with some household items. Despite their best efforts, Wiltshire Police could not find the stolen dog. Then suddenly, earlier this month, the original owner received a letter from the UK pet microchip registration and database service Petlog telling her that someone was trying to change ownership of her dog.  Officers then reopened the case and made enquiries which led them to find the dog at an address in Buckingham - with a new owner.

13 residents at Wrexham care home pass away after coronavirus outbreak

Lawrence Isted, Chief Officer Planning & Regulatory, on behalf of the Incident Management Team that is currently dealing with the outbreak at Hillbury Care Home, has reported, said the team has will continue to offer its help and support to the facility. Mr Isted said: “It is with great sadness that we can confirm that 13 residents at Hillbury Care Home have died from Covid-19 in recent days. “We send our condolences and sincere sympathies to their families and friends and to the residents and staff at the home.
