A Virginia woman is accused of abducting 2-year-old Noah Trout from a church, and a prosecutor said she tried to mislead investigators by giving them false.
CHRISTIANSBURG â Nancy Renee Fridley, the Virginia woman accused of abducting a 2-year-old from a church in Giles County tried to mislead investigators by submitting false tips, a prosecutor said Thursday.
And during the 25 hours that Fridley allegedly had Noah Gabriel Trout, she and her boyfriend shaved the childâs head and introduced him to neighbors as âBobby Jr.,â saying he was the son of Fridleyâs boyfriend Bobby Lee Taylor, the prosecutor said.
The toddler was taken from a nursery during Sunday services May 2 at Riverview Baptist Church in Ripplemead, Virginia, about 80 miles north of the N.C. state line.
