Toddler Abducted From Virginia Found Safe NBC Washington Staff

Update (May 3, 2021, 12:35 p.m. ET): The suspect is a woman, not a man, police said in an update Monday morning.
A woman abducted a boy from a Virginia community and the missing child was believed to be in “extreme danger,” state police said in an Amber Alert Monday.
The Amber Alert was canceled just before 2:30 p.m. after the child was found safe, Virginia State Police said.
The suspect has not been identified. More details about the abduction were not immediately available.
State Police is asking anyone with tips in the case to call 540-696-6013. Tipsters may remain anonymous.

UPDATE: The boy has been found safe and the AMBER ALERT is canceled… in the hands of FBI agents and State Police tactical team members.
PEARISBURG (WINA) – State Police have issued an AMBER ALERT on behalf of the Giles County Sheriff in southwest Virginia for missing/abducted 2 year old Noah Gabriel Trout. He was last seen on May 2, 2021 around noon at Riverview Baptist Church located on Big Stony Creek Road from where he was abducted.
Noah is 2’9”, 33 lbs with blonde hair & blue eyes and was wearing a royal blue (updated from earlier report of gray) shirt & an orange jacket. Noah was abducted from the church by an unknown female wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans, black tennis shoes & a black knitted stocking cap. The abductors are possibly driving a dark-colored SUV or van.
