A few years back, American boutique company VLF Automotive wanted to make around 50 units of the Force 1 V10, but production ended after only 5 of them saw the light of day, including, 4 coupes and the one-and-only convertible pictured here.
The person responsible for the design of both was Henrik Fisker, who formed VLF Automotive with former GM Vice Chairman Bob Lutz and businessman Gilbert Villarreal.
Building the Force 1 from the ground up would have been too costly, so the small company decided to base it on the Dodge Viper. As a result, it sports the same platform and engine, but different bodywork, a modified cockpit and even more power.
