The chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court in The Hague announced Wednesday that she was opening an investigation into alleged war crimes committed by Israel and the Palestinians.
The investigation was welcomed by the Palestinian Authority and furiously condemned by Israel, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu calling it “the epitome of anti-Semitism and hypocrisy.” The announcement came less than a month after the court ruled it had the jurisdiction to open a probe.

16,000 Israelis have joined a Facebook page that calls for the murder of a Palestinian every hour until three missing Israeli settler teens are located.
The page is titled “Until the boys are back, every hour we shoot a terrorist.”
(If it is a matter of killing terrorists, why the Zionists don’t head to Daesh Land in north Iraq?)
The page was launched as the Israeli army continued violent raids, curfews and closures across the occupied West Bank and shot dead Ahmad Sabarin, a Palestinian youth.
The Israeli newspaper Maariv reported on its website that within hours of its creation, a Facebook page calling for the hourly assassination of Palestinian “terrorists” had reached 10,000 likes.
Mon Feb 8, 2021 This comes from Marc Lamont Hill, courtesy of an intrepid online researcher of antisemitism. Hill had previously gotten into trouble for combining his CNN gig with support for murdering Jews. But even though CNN parted ways with him, the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) are always happy to give an antisemites a forum, whether it s Corbyn s rep or Hill. In 2014, Hill had claimed on CNN that the kidnapping and murder of three Jewish teens, Naftali Frenkel, Gilad Shaer, and Eyal Yifrah, one of them an American citizen, wasn’t “terrorism”, but “resistance”. Earlier this year, Hill had insisted that “occupied people have a legal and moral right to defend themselves” and that the idea that Israel has a “right to exist” is “propaganda”. In May of last year, he had argued that Trump’s “call for Palestine to ‘reject hatred and terrorism’ is offensive.”

A month ago we lost Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks at a time when he was bridging the Israel – Diaspora divide: one leader, one reader, and one disciple at a time. He was making headway, and it is our duty to help fulfill the mission on his memory. We should use the opportunity to look again at the critical nature of Israel Diaspora relations, and looking through the lens that Rabbi Sacks has left us, we can change the paradigm empowering us to develop the relationship based on a new set of founding principles.
