On Jan. 23, 2020, Chinese state media said the city of Wuhan would be shutting down outbound flights and trains, trying to halt the spread of a new virus that had sickened hundreds of people and killed at least 17. The World Health Organization said the viral illness in China was not yet a global health emergency, though the head of the U.N. health agency added that it may yet become one.

Beating Space Enemies Along With Addiction.

Gil Gerard was born on Jan. 23, 1943, in Little Rock, Arkansas. For school he attended a seminary before graduating from a Catholic high school. He began to work as an industrial chemist, but soon left the position and moved to New York City, where he studied drama by day and drove a taxi by night.
During this time, Gerard starred in around 450 commercials and landed a role as Alan Stewart on the soap opera

If you were smart and careful, you spent much of 2020 indoors thanks to the deadly pandemic. With many movie theaters closed much of 2020, with bars and restaurants often unavailable, with live music an impossibility; we all turned to home entertainment and that often meant our screens. Netflix and other streaming services can only offer so many choices and few people subscribe to every service, so 2020 was a good year to catch up on some DVDs and Blu-rays.
Brian K. Vaughan to script Buck Rogers reboot
Back in October it was announced that Legendary Pictures had acquired the rights to
Buck Rogers with plans for a multi-platform reboot of the classic sci-fi character, including a feature film and prestige TV series.
Well, we now have word that Brian K. Vaughan, the comic book creator behind the likes of
Runaways,
Saga and
Y: The Last Man, has signed on to write the television component. Vaughn does have past TV experience, having written episodes of
Lost as well as serving as showrunner on the Stephen King adaptation
Under the Dome.
