A workshop on supporting such enterprises (SMEs) in developing and protecting brands and other digital assets in the digital economy held last week lured 200 representatives from ministries, government agencies, business associations and businesses, raising their awareness of the role of digital assets in their business and operations in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
It also covered the fostering of digital transformation in SMEs, contributing to objectives of the supporting enterprisesâ digital transformation 2021-2025 programme, being implemented by the Ministry of Planning and Investment with the assistance from USAIDâs LinkSME project since December.

Ways to facilitate Vietnam’s development of cross-border e-commerce were discussed at a workshop on exporting Vietnamese products to the world with Amazon on April 28 in Hanoi.

The workshop was held jointly by the Vietnam E-commerce and Digital Economy Agency at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, and Amazon Global Selling.
Lai Viet Anh, deputy head of the agency, said Vietnam has the fastest cross-border e-commerce growth rate in the world.
Cross-border e-commerce continues to be an effective way for Vietnamese businesses to open their doors to global supply chains and minimise risks when traditional supply chains are disrupted or stagnant due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she added.

Amazon today announced to strengthen collaboration with Vietnam E-commerce and Digital Economy Agency (iDEA) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and launched the âWin Global with Local Product in New Trade Eraâ campaign to help vietnamese sellers transform online.
The two parties will jointly support Vietnamese sellers with cross-border e-commerce workshops and training series, aiming to provide them with skills and knowledge to capture global opportunities of transforming online.
Simultaneously, Amazon Global Selling launched the âWin Global with Local Product in New Trade Eraâ campaign to fortify Amazon Global Sellingâs commitment and efforts in helping Vietnamese business export through cross-border e-commerce.
