No. 22 Clemson Takes Down Louisville 19-8 in Pink Game & Senior Day CLEMSON, S.C. - Clemson Lacrosse scored nine straight goals during a nearly ten minute span around halftime to break the game open in a 19-8 win over Louisville on Saturday at Historic Riggs Field. Graduate Gianna New and senior Hanna Hilcoff each scored their 40th goals of the season as the Tigers (10-4, 2-4 ACC) defeated the Cardinals (4-8, 1-5 ACC) handily in their first meeting.  Clemson held its pink game in honor of Head Coach Allison Kwolek, who announced her battle with breast cancer earlier this season and was in her second game back on the sideline. Following the game, the team honored its first graduating class, which includes nine fifth-years: Marina Miller, Mallory Martel, Starr Howars, Emma Johnson, Chloe Willard, Maddy Moloney, Gianna New, Jalyn Jimerson and Belle Martire.  In all, six Tigers scored multiple goals, including Hilcoff (4), Jimerson (3), New (2), Maloney (2), Miya Scanlan (2), and Sof

No 3 North Carolina Defeats No 22 Clemson, 17-8

CLEMSON, S.C. – The No. 22 Clemson Women’s Lacrosse team (9-4, 1-4 ACC) lost to No. 3 North Carolina (9-1, 5-0 ACC) 17-8 on Sunday afternoon in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Gianna New led all scorers with three goals as four different Tigers got on the board.  North Carolina got out to a quick start with a 5-0 lead within the first ten minutes of the first quarter. Jaylen Jimerson ended the Tarheel's run to put the Tigers on the board. Hanna Hilcoff quickly scored a goal of her own with just over two minutes left in the first quarter to cut into North Carolina’s lead, 5-2.  Freshman, Sophia Chepenik, recorded her 27th goal of the season as she scored Clemson’s third goal of the game with just over five minutes left in the first half.
