On-demand streaming of “Hershey Felder, Puccini” – a world premiere presented by TheatreWorks Silicon Valley and Opera San José that livestreamed last weekend – will be offered through Sunday.
The production stars virtuoso pianist/performer Hershey Felder, who is joined by opera guest stars baritone Nathan Gunn, soprano Gianna Corbisiero and tenor Charles Castronovo.
“Puccini” tells the story of a young musician captivated by the world of opera – particularly by Giacomo Puccini’s “La bohème,” “Tosca” and “Madama Butterfly” – who through a series of unusual circumstances meets the musical master.
The show was performed and filmed in Lucca, Italy, at the home where Puccini was born.
