As part of a package of measures to ward off a repeat of the disastrous 2013 flood that badly damaged numerous homes in the northwest community, city council approved exploring the feasibility of a berm along 1.9 kilometres of the Bow River’s south bank in two segments, affecting 75 residential properties’ waterfront.
