Mumbai Road Rage: Auto driver arrested

A 34-year-old autorickshaw driver has been arrested in a case of road rage in
Govandi in Mumbai. He has been slapped with an attempt to murder charge after a video of him deliberately knocking down a motorcyclist surfaced on social media.
The accused has been identified as
Salman Sayyed, a resident of
Rafiq Nagar. He has been arrested for hitting the two-wheeler belonging to Kishor Kashinath Kardak (42), a resident of
Ghatkopar.
The incident took place at Ghatkopar-Mankhurd Link Road on December 17 but the footage of the road rage surfaced only today.

Mumbai: In a case of road rage an autorickshaw driver was held for attempt to murder after he purposely dashed a biker in the middle of road over an altercation. The entire incident was captured on a car camera which was coming from behind. After the video went viral, the Deonar police traced and arrested the auto driver Salman Rajjan Sayyad (34), a resident of Govandi, for attempt to murder and rash driving, said police.
According to the police, the incident took place on December 17. However, it came to light only on Wednesday. Soon after the video went viral, we first located the incident spot and began searching for the autorickshaw and the biker, said Balasaheb Ghavte, acting senior inspector of Deonar police station.

The toddler sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to the injuries
A two-year-old minor boy was mowed down by a speeding tempo on the Ghatkopar-Mankhurd Link Road near Annabhau Sathe Nagar in Mankurd on Tuesday evening. Police have arrested the tempo driver and booked him under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Police said that the incident occurred at around 5 pm, when the boy, identified as Ali Shaikh, had gone out with his father Wasim, 28. Suddenly, a speeding Mahindra pickup bearing registration number MH-43-BB-2999 hit the boy from behind. The toddler sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to the injuries.
