Two persons were killed and seven others injured when a Tata AC van hit a roadside tree near Nakajhari village under the Ghatagaon police on the Tara-Barahatipura road on Thursday afternoon.
The mishap occurred when a group of people were returning from the Kalimati Dam after a picnic.
