KALYAN: A court in Kalyan on Monday ordered further investigation into the death of gangster Naresh Pahalajani alias Naresh Chaddi, who was found dead under mysterious circumstances in his flat in Kalyan in 2016. The development came after the police recently filed a report stating that it was an accidental death case.
The order is a sigh of relief for the family who upon police s closure report had moved court filing a protest petition alleging that the investigation officer filed the closure report without probing his suspicious death. The family in petition claimed that Congress leader Godhumal Krishnani, his son Praveen and their associate Ravi Valecha from Ulhasnagar is involved in Chaddi s death.
