Nepal Police, which recently reopened the Lalita Niwas land grab scam by arresting some high profile people after being pulled up by the government attorney for failing to provide proper evidences against more than 400 accused in the scam, have delved into the case seriously this time around. Police have arrested two more persons linked to the scam.
KATHMANDU, July 3: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has restricted building any physical structure on Lalita Niwas land. While Nepal Police have arrested various people and continued their investigation into the Lalita Niwas land grab scam, the KMC has decided against allowing the construction of any structure on Lalita Niwas land.
The Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police on Sunday arrested a Kathmandu Metropolitan City official, a Department of Survey employee and one fake tiller.
