Jibril Rajoub, Secretary of Fatah’s Central Committee saluted senior Fatah officials who are serving time in Israeli prisons and the families of Fatah “martyrs,” saying they are “models of heroism.” He spoke at a Fatah rally that was aired on Palestine TV on July 13, 2021. Rajoub singled out Ghadanfar Abu Atwan, who was recently released from Israeli jail after a long hunger strike. He emphasized that Abu Atwan’s father is named Eichmann (see MEMRITV clip no 8943 for more information about Ghadanfar and his father). Rajoub said that 12% of all prisoners serving time in Israeli jails are members of the PA security services and added: “So let no one lecture Fatah.” The rally took place amid recent unrest in the Palestinian Autho
