Aldo Rigoberto Guerra-Guevara pleaded guilty Oct. 23, 2020, to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine. Today, Chief U.S. District Judge Lee H. Rosenthal imposed a 14-year federal prison sentence. Guerra-Guevara could potentially lose his legal status in the country and face removal proceedings following completion of his sentence. Judge Rosenthal also entered a final order of forfeiture for properties and vehicles used for cocaine trafficking valued at over $500,000. At the hearing, the court found Guerra was the Houston leader and organizer of a drug trafficking organization responsible for moving millions in drugs and drug money throughout the United States.
