Poland â Nearly a quarter of companies plan to hire seasonal temp workers this year

Almost a quarter of companies in Poland plan to employ seasonal temporary workers this year, up from 15% before the pandemic (June 2019), according to data from Randstad Poland, Polskie HR Forum and market research firm Gfk Polonia.
The largest employers who employ over 250 employees (47%) will also have the greatest number of seasonal jobs. Seasonal jobs will mainly be offered by companies from the business services sector (approximately 50%), logistics companies (32%), real estate and business services (32%) and the construction industry (32%).
Meanwhile, 21% of employers said they plans to raise the salaries of their employees in the second half of 2021, this is up from 8% during the same period last year. The majority, or 3 out of 4 companies, intend to keep salaries at the current level, while pay reductions are planned by 1% of employers.
