It’s not an easy thing to know exactly what a K-drama audience will respond to, particularly as that audience keeps growing around the world and becoming more sophisticated.
As they try to answer that elusive riddle, there are several ways that writers of Korean dramas can pen their shows: stick to tried and true narratives, craft an involving mystery, or push boundaries with something new and edgy, for example.
Then you have something like Vincenzo , which goes for the everything-plus-the-kitchen-sink approach.

Mr. Cho s Confession to Vincenzo Cassano
Vincenzo Cassano and Mr. Cho (Choi Young Joon) finally had the chance to see the hidden gold under the Nanyak Temple, but Mr. Cho chose to betray the former mafioso.
Vincenzo asked Mr. Cho why he was only desperate to take one bar of gold, mentioning the Guillotine File. Mr. Cho revealed that he s a secret agent from the International Security Intelligence Service.

After Vincenzo s grotesque surprise for Jang Han Seok (2PM s Taecyeon) - pouring him pig s blood in front of the media - Babel Group s new chairman was arrested for anti-union activities. However, Choi Myung Hee (Kim Yeo Jin) insists that the prosecutor doesn t have credible evidence to prove the accusations.
This was not until Vincenzo showed them the voice recorder that contains the interview from the man who used to work under the union group.
Prosecutor Jung In Guk (Ko Sang Ho) said that Jang Han Seok, together with Jang Han Seo (Kwak Dong Yeon), Choi Myung Hee, and Han Seung Hyuk (Jo Han Chul) will be charged for new cases.

“Vincenzo” stars Song Joong Ki as Vincenzo Cassano, an Italian lawyer and Mafia consigliere who is of Korean descent, but was adopted by an Italian family at a young age. When he moves back to Korea due to a conflict within his organization, he winds up crossing paths with sharp-tongued lawyer Hong Cha Young (Jeon Yeo Bin) and her intern Jang Joon Woo (2PM’s Taecyeon). Together, they join forces in using villainous methods to take down villains who cannot be punished by the court of law.
