O’Neal is a big guy with a big heart to match.
Shaq was shopping for a pair of earrings when he noticed a young man agonizing over how to finance an engagement ring for his girlfriend, so the seven-foot-one basketball legend paid it off himself.
The generous act was even caught on video.
“I seen the guy come in he was just so shy,” Shaq explained during an NBA postgame show. “He was saying, ‘Hey, how much do I owe to pay off my ring. ”
“And I was like, ‘My man, how much is the ring?’ I’m not going to say the amount, but it’s not a lot for me,” he added.
