Customers and staff of gun store opened fire at shooter Joseph Choi © Getty Customers and staff of gun store opened fire at shooter Customers and staff at a New Orleans area gun shop and shooting range on Saturday opened fire on a shooter who killed two people in an incident in which the shooter also died. The Associated Press reports that the incident occurred in the afternoon at the Jefferson Gun Outlet. The shop is located in the suburb of Metairie, around five miles away from the city s French Quarter. According to Jefferson Parish Sheriff Joseph Lopinto, customers and staff opened fire on the shooter both inside and outside the gun outlet.
