PUPILS at Walwayne Court Primary School in Trowbridge are celebrating National Gardening Week and have been busy planting wildflowers, swede, sweet corn, radishes, courgettes, tomatoes and pumpkins. National Gardening Week is the country’s biggest annual celebration of gardening and takes place from Monday, April 26 to Sunday May 2. This year the Royal Horticultural Society is encouraging people to Get Your Dose of Vitamin G. RHS director of science, Professor Alistair Griffiths said: “Vitamin G is ‘green’, and research has shown that getting a daily dose improves our sense of personal wellbeing. “We aim to bring green into your daily life as much as possible for maximum benefits.
