Vincent Van Der Voort came back from the brink of defeat while Cameron Carolissen received a bye after his scheduled opponent tested positive for coronavirus, as the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) World Championship went into its sixth day.
The first round concluded and the second round continued at Alexandra Palace, with the match of the day being the round two all Dutch contest between Van Der Voort and Ron Meulenkamp.
Meulenkamp went two sets up in the contest with a 144 checkout in set two putting him a set away from round three.
Van Der Voort then went on a blistering run of form claiming six of the next seven legs to force a decider.
