Gov. Tina Kotek, the 39th governor of Oregon elected in 2022, said among her top priorities this year is work to address the state’s homelessness issue and housing shortfall though Senate Bill 1537, a half billion dollar funding measure aimed at increasing affordable housing stock throughout the state.
