An online uproar followed Tuesday’s heated exchange between Fox News host Tucker Carlson and Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson (R) as the latter defended his recent veto of legislation that would have made Arkansas the first state to ban puberty blockers, hormones, and surgery for transgender minors.
While Hutchinson claimed he was exercising his belief in a limited role of government while accusing Carlson of misrepresenting the bill, the Fox News host accused the governor of ignorance surrounding the “emerging field” of such treatments.
“It doesn’t sound like you have studied it very deeply,” Carlson said.

The media finally decided to pay attention to Hunter Biden over the weekend, but not in a way that had the House Judiciary Committee GOP pleased.
“En route back from church, Biden diverted motorcade so Hunter Biden could make a food run at Call Your Mother, arguably the best bagel shop in DC. Hunter stood at the window several minutes for the takeout order as his dad and daughters waited in the car, per pooler @TomDeFrank,” The Washington Post’s Matt Viser reported.
The bagel stop came after the Bidens attended Holy Trinity Catholic Church in the Georgetown area of the district.
Follow RT on Republicans took to social media on President Joe Biden’s first day in office to point out the number of Americans who have thus far died during his presidency – a response to Democrats who blamed Trump for coronavirus deaths.
According to the New York Times, at least 215 Americans died of Covid-19 on January 20 – Biden’s first half-day in the White House – while the Atlantic’s Covid Tracking Project put the number at a much higher 4,409 deaths. Conservatives decided to capitalize on the figures with tongue-in-cheek jeers at Democrats, some of whom argued that former President Donald Trump was personally responsible for the 400,000 American coronavirus deaths.
