Reporter the motorcyclist was struck. The two accidents happened within minutes of each other. Investigators believe the motorcycle was splitting lanes when he somehow collided with a pickup truck and slid under another vehicle. They have not yet identified the man, and they say its too early to know whose fault it was. Its a possibility that the car came over and struck the motorcycle, which resulted in the fatal injury. Reporter authorities out here say they should have the scene cleared here within a matter of minutes. The other accident just minutes after, 6 miles to the south, a big rig hit several vehicles and spun around and hit several more. All southbound lanes were shut down for nearly two hours.
