A McKeesport man accused of shooting a police officer while in custody was arrested in West Virginia on Tuesday, according to police.
Koby Lee Francis, 22, is accused of shooting McKeesport Officer Gerasimos Athans, 32, on Dec. 20, after he was detained for violating a PFA, according to Allegheny County police.
Allegheny County Police are looking for Koby Lee Francis, 22, of McKeesport, who is accused of shooting a police officer while escaping custody Sunday. (Allegheny County Police).
Francis was taken into custody in Clarksburg around 6 p.m., with assistance by the U.S. Marshals Service, according to police.
