We have met the generations test to stand for freedom against a tough challenge, and we have persevered. We are wiser, better, stronger. Today marks 15 years since the 9 11 attacks here in new york city, also in washington, d. C. , and shanksville, pennsylvania. Nearly 3,000 americans died on that day.
