Crews douse two-alarm blaze in Bethlehem Township Updated Jan 18, 2021; Crews battled a two-alarm fire early Sunday along Georgian Lane in Bethlehem Township. Township Police Sgt. Shaun Powell said the call came in shortly after midnight for a two-story home in the 3200 block of Georgian Lane. Officers and firefighters from both the Nancy Run Fire Co. and Bethlehem Township Volunteer Fire Co. on arrival found heavy smoke billowing from the basement area. Firefighters sprung into action pumping water hoses into the house as smoke poured out, Powell said. Crews found a small fire ignited in the basement and quickly doused the flames, fire officials stated on Nancy Run Fire Co’s Facebook page. Firefighters had to wait into the early morning hours until all hot spots were extinguished.
