Reward increased on 37th birthday of Montgomery teen missing since 2003

Today marks the 37th birthday of a Montgomery teen who disappeared 18 years ago, and authorities have increased the amount of reward money for information in the case.
Central Alabama Crime Stoppers on Friday announced a reward of $5,000, up from $1,000, in the 2003 disappearance of LaQuanta Riley. That brings the total reward amount to $15,000.
Riley was 19 when she was last seen on Dec. 7, 2003. According to the missing persons website The Charlie Project, Riley left her Montgomery home in a dark green, four-door car, possibly a Ford Taurus or Chevrolet Caprice. The driver took Riley to her mother’s home three miles away, where Riley asked for a jacket.
