With the high-stakes Georgia Senate runoff elections just days away, a prayer march is set to take place in the state’s capital and largest city of Atlanta on Saturday.
Chaired by Bishop Wellington Boone of Atlanta and Jim and Rosemary Schindler Garlow of San Diego, California, the Georgia Prayer March will take place at the Georgia Statehouse on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. It will also be streamed live online for those who want to attend virtually.

Hundreds gathered outside the Georgia Statehouse in Atlanta on Saturday for a prayer march ahead of Tuesday s U.S. Senate runoff elections in the state.
The marchers prayed for biblical values to be exalted in the Georgia Senatorial elections, according to the Georgia Prayer March, which organized the event.
The march was billed as nonpartisan but the website said participants would be marching for issues like sanctity of life in the womb, the sacredness of one man-one woman marriage, the scripturally-based free market system and supporting Israel all traditionally conservative issues.

ATLANTA Hundreds of religious voters flocked to downtown Atlanta on Saturday to pray outside the state Capitol ahead of Tuesday’s runoff elections.
The Georgia Prayer March aimed “to encourage people to pray for the Georgia Senate elections” and unite Americans in “intense prayer,” according to organizers.
The event, also called a prayer walk, was hailed as a nonpartisan event, but several speakers cast doubts on the validity of the November presidential race results while encouraging those in attendance to vote for incumbent Republican U.S. Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler this week.

ATLANTA The Georgia Prayer March is being held today at the Georgia State House in Atlanta.
It will begin at 11 a.m. and end at around 2:30 p.m.
According to the press release, it is a “prayer meeting while marching.”
“The Georgia Prayer March is not a rally, a conference, or a concert. This is not even a worship service, although there will be times of worship,” the release stated. “There will not be speeches or sermons.”
