and florida will be affected by television ads and spending. no kidding. big question is are people impacted by endorsements from their lawmakers. right now, when you look at that, you know, members of congress who have worked with newt gingrich, we re talking this morning about he s had some core endorsements like tom coburn saying newt gingrich is the last person i d vote for as president of the united states. congressman peter king as well, does that matter? well, it only matters to the extent that it affects the people who follow them and that it gives, you know, credibility to an underlying concern about speaker gingrich. i think outside of the georgia delegation, speaker gingrich was from georgia, i think there s only one sitting member of congress to endorse him from outside the georgia delegation so this is a problem for him. mitt romney has 55 endorsements. karl, does it matter because look at congress approval rating. 80% of americans disapprove of congress. only 1
