IRON MOUNTAIN Trudy Ann Deldin, 70, passed away peacefully at U.P. Health Systems Marquette Hospital. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on Nov. 24, 2020, due to complications associated with COVID-19.
She was born on April 3, 1950, in Iron Mountain, to the late Woodrow and Noreen Corsi. Woods and Noreen were overjoyed; after having four sons, they finally got their girl.
Trudy graduated from Iron Mountain Senior High School in 1968. In March of 1972 she met her soulmate, John Deldin, and on Oct. 28, 1972, they were married at the Immaculate Conception Church in Iron Mountain. They shared 48 amazing years together.
Trudy had tried different jobs in her early adult years: cashiering at a local grocery store, sales clerk, bartending, and also a desk clerk at Pine Mountain Lodge. In 1979 she began working at the Iron Mountain-Kingsford Federal Credit Union, where she worked for more than 30 years, retiring in 2011. While working at the Credit Union she made man
