Almost all homes at the top end of town in Sydney recorded a profit this year, as many turned around up to a million dollars in the space of just 12 months, new figures reveal.
The Northern Beaches Council area that takes in Manly up to Palm Beach led the way, with 98.4 per cent of all sales recording a median profit of $856,300 in the first quarter of this year, according to CoreLogicâs
Property Pain and Gain report.

In Woollahra Council, which takes in some of the most prestigious suburbs in Australia from Paddington to Vaucluse, 97.4 per cent of all property transactions turned a median profit of $905,000.
