Latest updates from Rame Head barn blaze which sparked major incident Several crews from fire stations in Cornwall and Devon were dispatched to the scene Updated The video will auto-play soon8Cancel Play now Firefighters who tackled a large blaze at a barn which led to a major incident being declared have said the cause of the incident was accidental . Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service (CFRS) were called out to the scene which is not far from Whitsand Bay Golf Course at around 1.40pm on Wednesday (March 3) after receiving reports of an outbuilding being alight. A major incident was soon declared and road closures put in place near the site as several crews from CFRS along with some from Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service extinguished the flames.
