This morning an unexpected twist in the murder of a San Francisco woman. The gun used to kill Katherine Steinle belonged to a federal agent. The suspect said he found the gun. As andrea of our San Francisco station kpix reports, Law Enforcement officials are trying to fill in all the blanks. There are a lot of questions being raised by our investigation. Where did the gun come from. Reporter sources appear that the gun used to kill kate steinle on the pier belonged to an agent. We can confirm mr. Sanchez did not know miss steinle and he had no reason to want her to be harmed in any way. Reporter the. 40 gun had been found stolen during a car burglary just last month.
