A crowd of young Greek South Australian minds gathered at a youth networking night in Adelaide last Thursday. More than 50 young people heard from four Greek Australian mentors in medicine, politics, banking and finance, and wine making, on how mentors have guided their career pathways.
In his first-ever visit to South Australia, the ambassador met the Greek Orthodox Community of SA (GOCSA) council members, including the president, Peter Gardiakos, and the new GM, Con Dalagiorgos.
Across the country the coming week will see a number of parades, the much anticipated parelasi, grace the streets of the nation's largest cities as diaspora Greeks mark 25 March; Greek Independence Day.
