Jennifer is an associate professor of history at the university of kansas. Where her specialty, no surprise, is the civil war. Her first book was copperheads for those of you who may not have a copy at home or have read it. And this, of course, is about the Antiwar Movement in the north. This was published by Oxford University press in 2006, and actually has a forward by jennifers mentor, james m. Macpherson. So you can tell she comes from a quality line. Her second book is actually geared for children, and this fact has won her a special place in the hearts of many of us in the Lincoln Group who really view the importance of sharing the story of lincoln
