Witnesses say they heard gunshots fired before the truck drove into the revelers. Medical helicopters and ambulances have been taking people to nearby hospitals and local residents were briefly told to stay in their homes for fear of a broader attack. He told us he is okay and in a shelter. There is a ninehour time difference between the bay area and nice, so it is 3 00 in the morning. Authorities say they are still looking for clues and trying to take care of as many of the injured people as possible.
