QUEEN Margaret University (QMU) in Musselburgh has teamed up with Papple Steading, near Whittingehame, to offer £27,000 of digital media prizes for students. The initiative focuses on bringing together students, past and present, from a range of disciplines to produce engaging digital media to celebrate agricultural and food heritage in the Lothians. The Papple Steading Digital Media Prize will give digital content creators the chance to tell stories of the contributions made to global farming in the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries by the people of Lothian and across Scotland, as well as their agricultural innovations.
