"As per Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Juban, beddings, masks, food packs, bottled water are the immediate needs in the Evacuation Center plus Respiratory meds/interventions," Rev. Fr. George Fajardo, Caritas Sorsogon director, said in an interview over Church-run Radio Veritas. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology has placed Mt. Bulusan under alert level 1 following a phreatic eruption on Sunday, with people now prohibited to enter its four-kilometer permanent danger zone.
