SIR – Rishi Sunak has negotiated an agreement, in the form of the Windsor Framework, that has required the EU to give significant ground while getting nothing in return.
SIR – Terry Smith (Letters, May 7) says that electors in Barnet, where Labour has taken control of the council, have voted to have their council tax raised and services run less efficiently.
SIR – The best way to increase money going into government coffers to pay for social care and the National Health Service is the old Conservative way – to encourage businesses, by letting them get on with less regulation and less direct tax, thus increasing tax take from an invigorated private sector.
