Police in the uk have launched a Murder Investigation after three people were stabbed to death in the town of reading, west of london. Three other people were seriously injured. Police were called to the scene in forbury gardens in the centre of reading around 7pm on friday evening. A 25 year old man from the town was detained at the scene and has been arrested on suspicion of murder. 0ur news correspondent Helena Wilkinson reports from the scene in reading. Thames Valley Police say that a man was arrested at the scene. The bbc understands that he is thought to be libyan. He is in custody at the moment.
