Letters: Britain is the odd country out in banning small gatherings at home

Harmful effects of failure to share NHS records SIR – For some years I have attended the Royal Eye Infirmary at Dorset County Hospital to undertake regular monitoring tests for my glaucoma. In March this year, the NHS very sensibly opened a standalone eye clinic in the town, in order to relieve some of the pressures on the eye infirmary at Dorset County Hospital. On completion of my examination, eye scans and visual fields test, the results were immediately and carefully reviewed by the optometrist, who told me that, as this was my first appointment with the clinic, I should return in four months’ time for duplicate tests so that they might begin to establish a monitoring record.
