Throughout October, Carson City s Michael Hohl Motor Company is collecting pet food donations in hopes of filling a pickup truck with food to support Feeding Pets of the Homeless.
CARSON CITY Feeding Pets of the Homeless recently received a $5,000 grant from PetSmart Charities to help provide pet food, supplies, emergency veterinary care and wellness clinics to companion animals of homeless individuals across the United States.
Feeding Pets of the Homeless, a national animal welfare nonprofit based in Carson City, Nev., received a $2,000 grant from Albertsons Companies Foundation of Phoenix, Ariz. This generous contribution has enabled the organization to make a significant impact on the lives of both homeless individuals and their beloved pets in the Reno community.
