NDO – A virtual meeting was held by the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of Defence in Hanoi on January 12 allowing present and former high-ranking military officers to gather together.
The meeting was directed by Politburo member and Defence Minister, General Ngo Xuan Lich and saw the presence of former Politburo member and Defence Minister, General Phung Quang Thanh.
At the meeting, General Ngo Xuan Lich updated delegates of the current situation in the country, region and world; the conspiracies and tricks of hostile forces; the results of Party congresses at all levels in the army; and outstanding achievements in military and defense work during the 2015-2020 period.
