Conviction upheld against who falsely claimed to be osteopath

Directors appointed to Independent Office for Police Conduct

Watford osteopath can no longer work after faking insurance

A physician who faked insurance documents and “put patients at risk” will no longer be able to practise. Christopher Willis, 35, who formerly served as an Osteopath at The Better Health Clinic on Queens Road, has been removed from the Register of osteopaths. It was claimed that Willis failed to obtain his professional indemnity insurance (PII) since June 2018, and he falsified the insurance documents. Willis then continued to practise without insurance for a “considerable period,” says the General Osteopathic Council. The council’s professional conduct committee (PCC), chaired by Richard Davies, concluded that Willis put patients at risk and brought his profession into disrepute – both by failing to maintain his insurance and his conduct to his regulator.
